Sometimes a garden just needs a special touch--a covered patio like this home in Portland, Oregon, or some reimagined planting areas in Vancouver, Washington. We can work remotely or in person. We are only limited by imagination!
This Portland, Oregon, homeowner had a beautiful backyard, which she wanted to enjoy, even on misty Pacific Northwest days. We designed this covered patio area with clear roof panels to allow light--but not rain--to splash into this living room. She installed a gorgeous chandelier, added plant-filled pots, art and comfy furniture then installed drop-down shades for those extra warm days. Now she enjoys time in her outdoor living room six months a year.
Sometimes, a quick consult over Zoom or through shared photos can be just what a homeowner needs. This Vancouver, Washington garden had beautiful foundation plants, and the homeowners--well-versed in plants and project management--just needed a few ideas to bring an area near the house into focus. With a few sketches and some over-the-phone conversations, they brought their vision to life.
