Thoughtful. Sustainable. Garden Design.

Rough sketches can be a starting point.

About Kristin Kaden Dreyer

Kristin comes by garden design honestly--through hard work, hands-on learning and multiple degrees--in Communication. Yes, she worked nearly twenty year in public relations for technology companies Intel and Microsoft before stepping out of her career to raise her twin sons. But, along the way, a new career emerged. She became an Oregon State Master Gardener, a member of The Portland Garden Club and a fearless designer and project manager of home and garden remodels. Known for her willingness to help friends with their gardens and her juggling of subcontractors to efficiently drive projects to completion, she's passionate about beauty in the landscape and ever respectful of the earth's limited and precious environmental resources. She's creative, meets challenges head on and finds few problems that can't be resolved. Her knowledge goes beyond horticulture and hardscape and she can pull it all together for you into a plan. Plus, she's kinda fun!

Kristin believes that excellent communication is at the heart of any project (she didn't get her Masters degree for nothing). Whether you want a garden sketch on a napkin, a recommendation for a shade- and drought-tolerant plant, or a full-blown garden design for your yard, Kristin listens, asks thoughtful questions and works with you to develop a garden plan that you--and the earth--will love.
